Georgie Wilson is an Australian abstract artist. She creates original artworks in her treetop studio on the Mornington Peninsula. Georgie also produces limited edition archival prints from her artworks, and partners with companies on bespoke designer collaborations.
From a distance compositions may appear sharp, however when viewing closely look very soft allowing areas of both realism and abstraction to blend seemlessly. This deliberate softening allows interesting juxtapositions that challenge reality and layer light, and texture, capturing small moments in time.
Georgie has previously exhibited at Kira and Kira, Established By Design, Antipodes in Sorrento, Felix, Hut13, and White Nest. Her work has featured in various media including Inside Out magazine, Home Beautiful, Origin Magazine, The Age, and The Design Files. She has been commissioned by private collectors, and design and ad agencies both here in Australia and internationally.
