THE COLLECTION: THE SHAPE OF A DAY

Each piece in this collection captures the emotional essence of an hour in the day, from the hush of early morning to the deep stillness of night. Using raw canvas and soak-stain underpainting, Ethel allows pigment to move intuitively, mirroring the way emotion and memory seep into the fabric of our days.

Ethel Voronkova, a Stylized Abstract Artist originally from the Philippines, is currently based in Ontario, Canada. Her artistic journey began when she and her family relocated to Canada when she was just nine years old. She pursued her passion for Fine Art by enrolling in Centennial College, where she honed her skills.

In 2017, Ethel took the bold step of dedicating herself to her art full-time. Since then, her artistic endeavors have been showcased in both Group and Solo exhibitions. Notable venues that have featured her work include Arta Gallery, Hamilton City Hall (for a solo exhibition), the annual juried show at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, The Orillia Museum of Art and History, and the Annual One-Of-A-Kind Show in Toronto. She has also gained recognition from the Art Gallery of Hamilton, which represents her.

Ethel's captivating paintings have found their way into private collections across Canada and the United States. Presently, she resides in Brantford, Ontario, where she also maintains her studio, continuing to create and inspire through her unique artistic expression.
